SATNUS completes successful flight test campaign for NGWS/FCAS programme

SATNUS has successfully conducted its first flight test campaign for the Next Generation Weapon System (NGWS) within the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) programme.

In its aim to drive and boost the innovative capacity of the entire Spanish industrial ecosystem to the full, Indra has launched 'The FCAS Challenge', a call for Spanish technological startups and SMEs to contribute to the challenge of developing emerging and disruptive technologies within the framework of the FCAS, the program developing the future European air combat system for which Indra is the national industrial coordinator.

Indra and the Barcelona Supercomputing Center-Centro Nacional de Supercomputación (BSC-CNS) have signed a cooperation agreement.

Indra has closed a deal to add the Spanish startup IDBOTIC into the NGWS/FCAS program, Europe's largest and most ambitious defence program that is addressing the development of the future air combat system, key for the continent to maintain its air superiority throughout the 21st century.

Indra has closed a deal to add the Spanish startup IDBOTIC into the NGWS/FCAS program, Europe’s largest and most ambitious defence program that is addressing the development of the future air combat system.

The German defence procurement agency (BAAINBw) has taken a significant step towards the development of advanced defence technologies with the recent signing of a national study contract. This contract marks the initiation of a two-year research phase within the Next Generation Weapon System (NGWS) project, aimed at addressing the technological challenges posed by a highly interconnected weapon system.
