The Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic announced that two additional multirole combat aircraft Lockheed Martin F-16C/D Fighting Falcon Block 70 were welcomed at the 46th Wing Air Base in Kuchyňa-Malacky.
Slovakia’s Ministry of Defence has narrowed its light tank programme to two candidates, the Turkish Otokar Tulpar and BAE Systems Hägglunds’ CV90120, excluding Germany’s Leopard 2A8 and the Korean-Polish K2PL Black Panther.
The partnership intends to serve both new and legacy F-16 operators, providing advanced maintenance and logistics support from a strategically located and technically proficient centre.
