Royal Thai Air Force chooses Sweden’s Gripen E/F to replace old F-16s

The Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) announced on Tuesday that it would procure Sweden’s JAS 39 Gripen E/F fighter aircrafts to replace the aging F-16 A/B jets in the 102nd Squadron of 1st Wing Division.

The Israeli-developed Dominator XP UAV was commissioned by the Royal Thai Air Force at Takhli Air Base on September 1, 2023. One airplane with the tail number 506 was displayed as the focal point of the ceremony.
