Dominator XP drone enters service in the Royal Thai Air Force

The Israeli-developed Dominator XP UAV was commissioned by the Royal Thai Air Force at Takhli Air Base on September 1, 2023. One airplane with the tail number 506 was displayed as the focal point of the ceremony.

The Dominator XP is a twin-engine light aircraft that has been transformed by Israeli company Aeronautics into a UAV.

The UAV is an Israeli Medium-Altitude Long-Endurance (MALE) unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) based on the Austrian Diamond DA42 Twin Star passenger aircraft.

 

 

Dominator XP UAV executes intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) operations.

Thailand ordered three DA42 Dominators in a contract valued at USD 27 million.
