Viasat to provide secure broadband SATCOM for Spanish C295 MPA fleet

Viasat and Airbus Defence and Space will collaborate on the integration of Viasat’s dual-band (Ku/Ka) broadband terminal, the GAT-5530, into the Spanish C295 MPA fleet.

Israeli company, Orbit Communications Systems, has signed a cooperation agreement with Viasat Inc. Under the agreement, Orbit's airborne terminals will integrate with Viasat's extensive Ka-band network, including the Global Xpress (GX) network, which Viasat acquired from Inmarsat on May 30th.
