On August 8, Tatra Trucks, a subsidiary of the Czechoslovak Group, officially handed over the last three logistics vehicles to the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic under the August 2022 contract for the delivery of 209 heavy-duty off-road vehicles in the transport version of the Tatra 815-7 6×6 Force series.

The new off-road trucks will be used by various units within the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic to transport items such as pallets, provisions, weapons, ammunition, and soldiers.

The contract, with a total value of over CZK 1.9 billion net, was concluded on August 24, 2022. In the same year, Tatra delivered 200 vehicles, while the delivery of the remaining nine was scheduled for the current year.

The first T 815-7 Force vehicles entered service with the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic in 2017, gradually replacing older models of the T 815 series. Currently, there are several hundred of them in 4×4, 6×6, and 8×8 versions.

The Armed Forces of the Czech Republic are the primary recipients of Tatra’s production. Currently, vehicles of this brand constitute over 90% of the logistic fleet of the Czech army.
