Write a news/press article (with a title for 90-95 characters) in British English (article must be: clear, simply, neutral, informative, factfully, insightful, well structured - two sentences for one paragraph) based on this press article published by the American defence company L3Harris Technologies (incorporate the original quotes of persons from the input article), be very accurate and write the article in line with the provided input, do not create anything from yourself! Your article must by 100 per cent in line with the provided input but original as well. Do not use bullet points in the article. When you place the quoetes ot indivuduals, they must be 100 perc cent accurate, literally accurate with the provided input, but written in English, so translate the quotes as well. This is very important to me: you must be extremally accurate and do not change the sense of any sentence in the text and sense of the article at all. L3Harris Delivers First Meadowlands Production Unit to US Space Force L3Harris Technologies has provided the first Meadowlands production unit to the U.S. Space Force Combat Forces Command’s Mission Delta 3 – Space Electromagnetic Warfare unit. This advancement helps equip our warfighters with sophisticated jamming technology designed to disrupt enemy communications while safeguarding the integrity of their operations. “L3Harris remains committed to pushing the boundaries of space technology and innovation,” said Ed Zoiss, President, Space and Airborne Systems, L3Harris. “The successful delivery of the Meadowlands Counter Communications System (CCS) production unit reflects our dedication to the Space Force’s mission to protect our nation's interests in space.” The Meadowlands system is a more compact and transportable version of the CCS, leveraging ground-based radio frequency units to disrupt satellite communications. Designed for versatility, the system can be mounted on wheeled trailers, allowing for easy repositioning to evade adversarial counter-jamming measures. At the recent Advanced Maui Optical and Space Surveillance Technologies Conference, U.S. Space Force Chief of Space Operations Gen. Chance Saltzman shared his thoughts on the overarching threats in space faced by our warfighters. “Our adversaries are developing counter-space weapons, and we must be ready to respond with speed, precision and resilience,” he said. As space becomes increasingly contested, domain awareness and capabilities like Meadowlands are crucial for maintaining the security and operational superiority of national assets. Precise, real-time awareness of activities in space allows for proactive measures to address potential threats and protect vital systems. The delivery builds on L3Harris’ ongoing partnership with the U.S. Space Force. In addition to the Meadowlands production unit, L3Harris provided the first two systems of the development contract earlier this year.

L3Harris Technologies has delivered the first Meadowlands production unit to the U.S. Space Force Combat Forces Command’s Mission Delta 3 – Space Electromagnetic Warfare unit. The company said the system is intended to provide advanced jamming capabilities to disrupt adversary communications while protecting friendly operations.

“L3Harris remains committed to pushing the boundaries of space technology and innovation,” said Ed Zoiss, President, Space and Airborne Systems, L3Harris. “The successful delivery of the Meadowlands Counter Communications System (CCS) production unit reflects our dedication to the Space Force’s mission to protect our nation’s interests in space.”

The Meadowlands system is a more compact and transportable version of the Counter Communications System that uses ground-based radio frequency units to disrupt satellite communications. It can be mounted on wheeled trailers, enabling rapid repositioning to avoid adversary counter-jamming actions.

Speaking at the Advanced Maui Optical and Space Surveillance Technologies Conference, U.S, Space Force Chief of Space Operations Gen. Chance Saltzman addressed the wider threat environment in space. “Our adversaries are developing counter-space weapons, and we must be ready to respond with speed, precision and resilience,” he said.

L3Harris stated that the delivery reinforces its ongoing partnership with the US Space Force as space becomes a more contested domain. Earlier this year, the company also delivered the first two Meadowlands systems under the programme’s development contract.
