In 2023, the company, known as Ukroboronprom, improved its position significantly from the previous year, jumping 16 spots from 65th place in 2022. The revenue from military product sales in 2023 saw a remarkable increase of 72% compared to 2022. This impressive growth rate makes it the fastest-growing company among the top 100 global arms manufacturers.
“The goal of the entire Ukrainian defense industry is to produce as much weaponry as possible for the defence forces, to manufacture it as quickly and with maximum quality, to adapt and modernize every minute to preserve the lives of our warriors,” said Ukraine’s Minister of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin.
“Today, our main focus is on increasing the production of weapons and military equipment to secure victory over the enemy,” stated Herman Smetanin, General Director of Ukrainian Defence Industry.
It is noteworthy that the State Concern Ukroboronprom, which was succeeded by JSC Ukrainian Defence Industry in June 2023, has been included in the TOP 100 defence companies list since 2015. The company’s previous best ranking was 62nd place in 2017.
