Trim Robotics’ Quadikaze missile features a unique dual-frame rotary-wing design, delivering improved aerodynamic efficiency and flight performance. Unlike conventional rotary-wing systems, the Quadikaze’s dual fuselage ensures superior control in flight and optimised attack trajectories with a high angle of attack.
The new platform bridges the gap between the limited manoeuvrability of traditional attack quadcopters and UVision’s advanced fixed-wing HERO munitions. Its design offers extended flight endurance, longer mission durations, and the ability to rapidly engage time-sensitive targets.
Compact and weighing approximately 4 kg, the Quadikaze is ideal for dense urban environments, forests, and narrow alleyways. Autonomous target identification and attack capabilities enable high-speed, stealthy engagements, enhancing operational lethality.
The system is man-portable, requires minimal training, and can be deployed rapidly without extensive preparation. Its highly efficient payload-to-platform ratio further strengthens its appeal for tactical forces operating in complex conditions.
Dr Ran Gozali, CEO of UVision Air Ltd., said: “UVision continues to develop loitering munitions, and this acquisition demonstrates our commitment to enhancing the HERO family’s capabilities for tactical forces. The dual-fuselage design delivers ease of control and fixed-wing-grade kinetic performance.”
He added: “This approach aligns with our vision and portfolio, addressing the need for high-speed, precision loitering munitions in complex operational environments. Together, we will provide customers with next-generation solutions for modern battlefields.”
Jonathan Cohen, CEO of Trim Robotics, commented: “This strategic investment and partnership represent a strong vote of confidence in our technology, capabilities, and long-term vision. Partnering with UVision – a global leader in loitering munitions – enhances our ability to deliver advanced, mission-ready solutions.”
He continued: “Together, we are accelerating the future of UAV innovation and meeting the evolving operational needs of modern defence. We value this partnership and are confident it will bring the Peregrine closer to those who need it most.”
