AAE will establish the licensed operation in a dedicated, environmentally controlled facility in the UAE. The site will manufacture high-reliability electrical systems for armored fighting vehicles, tactical military platforms and severe-duty commercial transport applications.
The agreement was formalized at a signing ceremony attended by AAE CEO Tim Leam, WireTech CEO Diyar Khamzin and WireTech Technical Director Askhat Aliyev. The companies said the new production line will operate to international military and automotive quality benchmarks.
“This partnership is a strategic addition to our manufacturing portfolio in the UAE,” said Leam. “By combining WireTech’s proven engineering expertise in high-specification harness manufacturing with AAE’s advanced production standards, we are creating a localized, highly reliable supply chain for defence and heavy vehicle OEMs across the GCC region.”
WireTech said the partnership will bring its engineering and manufacturing expertise closer to customers in the Gulf region. The company designs and produces electrical wiring harnesses and integrated electrical systems for defense, special-purpose, commercial and industrial applications.
“This partnership marks an important step in WireTech’s international growth and brings our expertise closer to customers across the GCC,” said Khamzin. “By combining WireTech’s experience in high-reliability electrical systems with AAE’s manufacturing capabilities in the UAE, we are creating a strong platform to deliver locally manufactured solutions for demanding defence and heavy-duty applications.”
The companies said the new production capability will address rising regional demand for localized electrical distribution systems designed for extreme operating environments. AAE described the project as part of its effort to build a reliable local supply chain for defense and heavy-vehicle manufacturers across the GCC.
AAE is a UAE-based engineering and manufacturing company with more than 250 employees and supplies global defense, security and heavy industrial vehicle manufacturers. Its capabilities include high-precision fabricated components, laser cutting, forming and integrated sub-assemblies.
WireTech is based in Kazakhstan and combines in-house engineering and manufacturing capabilities. Its systems are designed for complex and demanding operating environments across defense, special-purpose, commercial and industrial applications.
