On August 7, rotations of the NATO enhanced Forward Presence Battalion Battle Group (eFP BG) changed over at a ceremony at the Lithuanian Great Hetman Jonušas Radvila Training Regiment. The incoming rotation is under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Sebastiaan Schillemans of the Netherlands Armed Forces who replaces Lieutenant Colonel Marek Krüger of the Bundeswehr which marks the first time the eFP BG will be led by a Dutch rather than German officer.

The sensor specialist HENSOLDT has received a further order for the delivery of "Dynahawk" fire control sights (FLV). The customer is the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw). The order includes deliveries this year and next, with an option for further systems in 2026. The order is worth several million euros. HENSOLDT has already supplied fire control sights in previous years.

In Cartagena, Colombia, the Corporación de Ciencia y Tecnología para el Desarrollo de la Industria Naval, Marítima y Fluvial (COTECMAR) and Damen Shipyards Group have signed the contract for technical support and the supply of components for the construction of the Plataforma Estratégica de Superficie (PES - Strategic Surface Platform) yesterday. It will be the first frigate to be built in Colombia. This is being done by COTECMAR based on Damen's SIGMA 10514 model.
