The concept of air defence radars in terms of ranges and altitudes may be perceived differently based on the air defence doctrine of every single nation.
However, Aselsan, with a long lasting heritage in radars more than three decades, is proud of identifying, classifying aerial targets regardless of their Radar Cross Section (RCS) including mini/micro Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAVs) to stealth aircrafts.
Within this scope, in the first layer, ACAR anti drone radar detects aerial threats from very short ranges in order to keep strategic premises safe.

At the final stage, for long-range threats and early warning precautions, All Altitude Radar (AIR) and Early Warning Radar System (EWRS) are scalable Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) based air surveillance radars with advanced electronic protection capabilities.
