Turkish defence giant ASELSAN is set to unveil its latest land and weapon systems at the upcoming IDEX & NAVDEX 2025 exhibitions in Abu Dhabi, UAE. From February 17-21, the company will present cutting-edge artillery, smart ammunition, radar, and naval defence technologies to global audiences.

ASELSAN’s display at IDEX 2025 will include the ALKAR 100/81 and ALKAR 110/81 artillery and mortar systems, the ASAF 155 CCF, ASAF 155 MOFA, and ATOM 25 ABM smart ammunitions, and the YENER 100-G ground-penetrating radar. The ALKAR systems provide enhanced accuracy and operational flexibility, while the ASAF and ATOM ammunitions offer improved strike precision. The YENER radar is designed to detect hidden threats, such as improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and mines, under road surfaces.

At NAVDEX 2025, ASELSAN will highlight its advanced naval combat solutions, including integrated combat systems, electronic warfare, secure communication, and radar technologies. Among the key exhibits will be the GÖKDENİZ, GÖKSUR, SMASH, CENK, AKREP, and SERDAR systems, each tailored to meet the evolving demands of naval security.

Further strengthening regional partnerships, ASELSAN will showcase its KORKUT 150/35 self-propelled air defence gun system, mounted on the Wahash 8×8 vehicle developed by UAE-based CALIDUS. The company will also present its cockpit display solutions on Calidus Aerospace’s B-250 air platform. At EDGE’s stand, ASELSAN will display the GÖKDENİZ 100/35 close-in weapon system, ARTCom 9661 tactical radios, and the ALP 300-G air defence search radar, while NIMR will feature the SARP 100 remote-controlled weapon system on its Ajban vehicles.

ASELSAN President & CEO, Ahmet Akyol, emphasised the company’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the Middle East and Gulf region. “We take great pride in introducing our land and weapon solutions to the international audience at IDEX & NAVDEX 2025,” he said. “The Middle East is a strategically important region where we already have a strong presence through our offices and subsidiaries in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and Jordan. IDEX is one of the world’s premier defence exhibitions, and we believe it will help us solidify our relationships within the defence industry and strengthen our regional cooperation.”
