Following the successful flight, the aircraft will now proceed to the painting stage before undergoing acceptance testing and final delivery. It is expected to be assigned to the 142nd Wing of the Oregon Air National Guard, which is the first operational unit transitioning to the F-15EX Eagle II.

The Oregon Air National Guard currently operates two F-15EX jets, designated EX-07 and EX-08, which were delivered as part of the first production batch. Boeing is fulfilling a contract for the supply of 48 F-15EX Eagle II aircraft under three production batches ordered by the U.S. Department of Defense.
In addition to the U.S. contract, Boeing is preparing to fulfil an export order for 25 F-15IA aircraft for Israel. Furthermore, an intergovernmental agreement with Indonesia is expected to be finalised this year for the supply of 24 F-15EX aircraft.
According to publicly available U.S. Department of Defense documents, the F-15EX Eagle II has received positive evaluations from auditors and assessment teams. Reports indicate that the aircraft meets all expected operational requirements and features onboard systems capable of detecting fifth-generation aircraft.
These favourable assessments may influence future decisions regarding additional purchases beyond the currently planned total of 108 aircraft. The F-15EX Eagle II programme continues to advance, solidifying its role in the modernisation of the U.S. Air Force and its allies.
