Key objectives included a Houthi command and control centre and facilities used for the production and storage of advanced conventional weapons, such as missiles and uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs). These sites reportedly supported Houthi operations, including recent attacks on U.S. Navy warships and merchant vessels in the southern Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

Additionally, U.S. Navy and Air Force aircraft destroyed a Houthi coastal radar site along with seven cruise missiles and one-way attack UAVs over the Red Sea. The strikes aimed to neutralise threats posed to regional partners and international shipping.
CENTCOM confirmed there were no injuries or damage to U.S. personnel or equipment during the operations. The strikes form part of a broader U.S. strategy to counter Iran-backed Houthi aggression in the region and safeguard maritime security.
