Headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida, the new entity aims to strengthen the U.S. Munitions Industrial Base (MIB), offering essential products and services to support the U.S. Armed Forces.
Gaines brings over 20 years of industry experience to the role, with a focus on large- and medium-calibre ammunition, artillery systems, energetics, propulsion, pyrotechnics, and demilitarisation services. He expressed enthusiasm for his appointment, stating his dedication to enhancing the resilience of the U.S. munitions supply base and investing in advanced technology and talent.
The launch of MSM Group North America underscores CSG’s commitment to the U.S. defence and industrial sectors. Michal Strnad, owner and chairman of CSG, highlighted the move as a continuation of the company’s efforts to support U.S. national security. “This step reinforces our dedication to the stability and growth of the American defence industry,” he said, referencing CSG’s recent acquisition of The Kinetic Group.
In his statement, Gaines reiterated his goal of building strong partnerships with customers and maintaining the high standards of execution and delivery for which MSM Group is known. “I am thrilled to join the CSG family and lead this important initiative,” he said, pledging to contribute to the strength and expansion of the U.S. MIB.
