The contracts include the PULS (Precise and Universal Launching Systems) rocket launchers and rockets, as well as the Hermes 900 Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), equipped with advanced surveillance and operational payloads. Both systems are designed to enhance the customer’s defence capabilities across a range of operational scenarios.
The PULS rocket launcher is a flexible and cost-effective system capable of deploying a variety of munitions, including unguided rockets and precision-guided missiles. Its design allows integration with existing wheeled and tracked platforms, enabling cost savings in maintenance and training.
The Hermes 900 is Elbit’s largest unmanned aerial vehicle, suited for medium-altitude, long-endurance missions. It supports diverse applications such as intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance (ISTAR) across both land and maritime domains. Since its introduction in 2011, the system has been selected by over 20 customers worldwide.
Bezhalel (Butzi) Machlis, President and CEO of Elbit Systems, stated: “We are proud to support our European customer with advanced and versatile defence solutions that enhance operational effectiveness and adaptability.
