Estonian Defence and Aerospace Industry Association and the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine signed a cooperation agreement. This agreement aims to expand the already successful partnership between the two nations, particularly in developing Ukraine's defence capabilities.

Currently, ten Estonian defence industry companies are active in Ukraine, providing a range of capabilities from sensors and observation devices to unmanned platforms and field hospitals.

Collaborating closely with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, these companies have developed over 40 different positions tailored to meet Ukraine’s specific needs and requests.

Previously, Estonian cooperation with Ukraine mainly involved working with specific subdivisions or through international partners.

However, this new agreement enables direct interaction of the Estonian defence industry with Ukrainian state institutions, significantly bolstering the bilateral relationship.

The agreement encompasses technology development and transfer, facilitating improved access to Ukrainian defence industry partners.
