HENSOLDT and Saab sign agreement to enhance aircraft protection technologies

German technology company HENSOLDT and Swedish defence firm Saab have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen their collaboration in the field of aircraft protection technologies. The agreement aims to build on their existing partnership and drive innovation in defence systems.

 

The MoU signifies an important step in HENSOLDT’s strategic development and commitment to delivering reliable and efficient solutions to its customers. Oliver Dörre, CEO of HENSOLDT, highlighted the company’s positioning as a dependable partner for national and international security and defence programmes.

“This MoU reflects the intensification of the successful cooperation already established in various projects,” Dörre stated at the signing. He added that the partnership would help unlock further technological potential, enhancing military capabilities while supporting local value creation.

 

 

Micael Johansson, President and CEO of Saab, emphasised the benefits of the collaboration, noting that it would allow both companies to explore new opportunities. He stated that by combining expertise, they could develop innovative solutions to improve mission safety and operational effectiveness.
