The agreement follows a formal partnership between the two companies to support the IRONCLAD team in pursuit of the UK Ministry of Defence Light Mobility Vehicle programme. The companies said the service provider certification would strengthen support for the HUMVEE platform as part of their joint work.

This will position Marshall Land Systems with the ability to provide those same services to NATO HUMVEE users in the European Region.”
AM General authorised service providers offer full lifecycle support to customers worldwide. This includes troubleshooting and diagnostics, parts service, and maintenance support for the HUMVEE platform.
More than 350,000 HUMVEE vehicles are currently deployed worldwide. The platform is used by 17 NATO users in Europe and by multiple countries globally.
The planned training will give Marshall Land Systems the ability to provide through-life support for the HUMVEE platform fielded by the UK Ministry of Defence. It will also position the company to support NATO HUMVEE users in Europe.

The IRONCLAD team, comprising AM General and Marshall Land Systems, is pursuing the UK LMV programme solicitation. The team continues to grow as it works to provide the next generation of light tactical vehicles for the UK Ministry of Defence.
