The primary objective of the Missile Engineering Center is to strengthen the partnership between the UAE and MBDA, focusing on joint development of missile systems. This collaboration aims to provide high-performance missile systems while enhancing the UAE’s defence industry through significant local content.
The center, the first of its kind for MBDA outside Europe, is already operational with a team of engineers from Tawazun Technology Innovation and MBDA working on the next generation of Smart Weapons. This milestone represents a successful partnership between Tawazun Council and MBDA and signifies their shared vision for long-term cooperation and growth in the region.
