RENK Group has secured two new international customers for its proven HSWL 256B transmission, strengthening its presence in mission-critical propulsion technology. The German company will supply 42 transmissions to Latvia for the AJAX infantry fighting vehicle, with an option for 42 more.

An additional contract has been signed with another international customer for the delivery of ten transmissions. These developments significantly broaden RENK’s global footprint, particularly within NATO countries and allied nations.

“We are delighted to expand our global reach with these contracts,” said Dr. Alexander Sagel, CEO of RENK Group AG. “We are also reinforcing our role as a reliable partner to NATO countries and their allies, most importantly in a region of current geopolitical tension like NATO’s eastern flank,” he added.

The contracts mark the addition of two new countries to RENK’s customer base for the AJAX transmission, which is already in use by the British Army. “These contracts underscore not only the performance of our HSWL 256B transmission, but also the increasing international trust in our cutting-edge technologies,” Sagel stated.

Manufacturing of the transmissions will take place at RENK’s headquarters in Augsburg. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2026.
