The mobile rescue station comprises three truck-trailers, each carrying two container modules with extendable elements. Once deployed, the system forms a complete medical treatment centre, including areas for triage, emergency care, X-ray, surgery, and intensive care.
Training for Ukrainian service members was conducted at Rheinmetall Mobile Systeme GmbH’s site in Meckenbeuren. The sessions focused on safe handling of both the infrastructure and medical equipment, including ventilators, X-ray devices, monitoring systems, and surgical instruments.
“The Ukrainian soldiers participated in the training in a highly professional and committed manner,” said Armin Krenn, CEO of Rheinmetall Mobile Systeme GmbH. “Especially under the current operational conditions, safe handling of the systems and of the medical equipment is crucial for saving lives on the front line.”
The station is designed for rapid setup and operation, even in difficult terrain and weather. Its 20ft containers allow seamless integration into existing logistics and command structures, offering both protection and proximity to the battlefield.
This latest delivery and training underline Rheinmetall’s continued support for Ukraine’s defence and medical capabilities. Additional systems and training sessions have already been ordered and are scheduled for implementation through to the end of 2026.
