RSI Europe and Odin Defence have been selected for €29.5 million in EU funding for a project linking defence manufacturing in Estonia and Lithuania. RagnaRasa will connect component production in Estonia with final assembly, testing and qualification in Lithuania.

The companies announced the award on 16 October under the European Defence Industry Programme’s Industrial Reinforcement Actions. Their project was one of eight selected from 83 proposals submitted from 23 EU member states and Norway.

Odin Defence will establish production at Estonia’s Ermistu Defence Industry Park through RagnaRasa. The award came under the programme’s first call for energetic components.

“RagnaRasa is the next step in building our industrial capacity and regional defence capability, connecting essential components manufacturing in Estonia with final product assembly, testing and qualification in Lithuania,” said Tomas Milašauskas, RSI Europe’s chief executive and co-founder. The project brings together RSI Europe’s defence technology business and Odin Defence’s energetic materials manufacturing expertise.
