CSG and Zakłady Metalowe Dezamet, part of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ), signed the agreement on 24 July 2026. ZVS is part of Slovakia-based MSM Group within CSG.
Production will include pyrotechnic components and subassemblies used in artillery fuzes. The agreement extends cooperation between ZVS and Dezamet that began with a technology-transfer project in 2015.
“We are pleased that components manufactured in Slovakia will become part of Poland’s long-term 155 mm ammunition production programme,” said Jakub Krchňavý, CEO of ZVS holding. “At the same time, this confirms the ability of the Slovak defence industry to contribute its technologies and manufacturing capacities to strengthening Europe’s defence capabilities.”
CSG is a partner of PGZ in the production of 155 mm artillery ammunition. Technology transferred by CSG companies helped Polish factories start serial production of rounds for systems including the Krab self-propelled howitzer.
The contract also builds on the strategic partnership agreement signed by CSG and PGZ in March 2026. CSG Polska represents ZVS in Poland, while ZVS handles the production and supply work.
The ammunition is covered by a December 2023 contract between the PGZ-Amunicja consortium and the Polish Armament Agency. That agreement is worth nearly PLN 11 billion and covers deliveries to the Polish Armed Forces from 2024 to 2029.
A second implementation contract was signed on 30 May 2026 for several hundred thousand complete artillery rounds. It is worth more than PLN 13.5 billion and is financed through the European Union’s SAFE programme.
