Two orders cover 4×4 chassis manufactured by CSG Group companies for Huta Stalowa Wola, a subsidiary of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa. HSW will use them to produce Waran 4×4 vehicles in several configurations, including command vehicles for Poland’s Missile and Artillery Forces.
The third order covers 6×6 chassis for Heron 6×6 armoured vehicles. HSW will also produce command variants for units operating Homar-A and Homar-K multiple-launch rocket systems.
The contracts include assembly kits and have a combined gross value exceeding €150 million. Deliveries are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2029.
“The signing of these agreements marks the continuation and expansion of the CSG Group’s strategic cooperation with the Polish defence industry. This cooperation provides significant support for increasing the defence capabilities of the Land Forces and enables the rapid delivery of top-quality products,” said Wojciech Grzonka, President of the Management Board of CSG Polska and Vice-President of Sales at CSG.
“Our technological cooperation with Huta Stalowa Wola already has a fairly long history, and CSG is ready to develop it further, including through the implementation of new business models,” Grzonka said. The latest agreements expand an industrial relationship that already supports series production of both vehicle families in Poland.
The Waran 4×4 and Heron 6×6 are based on CSG Group’s Patriot II and Tadeas platforms, respectively. CSG said technology and expertise transferred through its cooperation with HSW have enabled local production of the vehicles.
The Polish Armed Forces have already received several dozen Waran 4×4 vehicles in different configurations. Those deliveries include platforms carrying components of the Gladius Unmanned Search and Strike System.
