Kongsberg Discovery begins production of autonomous underwater vehicles in the United States

Kongsberg Discovery has already delivered HUGIN vehicles to the U.S. Navy and various government, commercial, and academic institutions.

Kongsberg Discovery announced the successful completion of the factory acceptance testing for the first production model of the HUGIN Endurance.

Kongsberg Discovery stands out among the recipients with its contract to deliver the Hugin Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) to the U.S. military.

The three Hugin/HiPAP shipsets will be delivered to the yard over the next four years to match with the new vessel delivery schedule.

Kongsberg Maritime’s Sensor and Robotics division has announced that it has secured over NOK 450M in contracts for HUGIN AUV in Q2 2022.
