EDGE has signed a landmark contract to supply 200 HT-100 and HT-750 unmanned helicopters to the UAE Ministry of Defence, as part of a milestone deal which is the largest ever order for unmanned helicopter systems, to enhance their VTOL capabilities. The unmanned VTOL systems will be manufactured by Switzerland-based EDGE entity, ANAVIA, which specialises in the development and manufacturing of autonomous aerial capabilities.

EDGE Group entity, Milrem Robotics, Europe’s leading developer of robotics and autonomous systems, has signed a contract to supply 20 tracked robotic combat vehicles (RCVs) and 40 THeMIS unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defence. The agreement, which represents the world's largest combat robotics programme, was announced at the Unmanned Systems Exhibition & Conference (UMEX 2023) being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) until 24 January.

Saab and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defence have signed a contract and Saab has received an order regarding in-service support for the GlobalEye Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) solution. EDGE, one of the world's leading advanced technology and defence groups, announced its first major order from the UAE Armed Forces for the locally-manufactured REACH-S fixed-wing UAV. Announced at the Dubai Airshow, the order to supply 100 REACH-S is the first of its kind for the for UAE-made fixed-wing drones. ADVANCED CONCEPTS, a business unit within EDGE dedicated to the design and development of innovative technologies, is currently developing the REACH-S in line with end users’ requirements. ADASI, an EDGE entity which designs and develops autonomous systems, will oversee the production and deliver the contract to the UAE Armed Forces.
