Overland AI reveals ULTRA: autonomous tactical vehicle for challenging ground missions

Seattle-based defence technology company Overland AI has unveiled ULTRA, a fully autonomous tactical ground vehicle designed for complex military environments.

Ultra Intelligence & Communications (Ultra I&C) has been awarded an USD 86.8 million contract by the U.S. Army to develop advanced software prototypes for the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS). The five-year agreement aims to enhance Guam's defence operations by integrating next-generation weapons and sensors under the U.S. Army's Program Executive Office (PEO) Missiles and Space.
