Thales has delivered the first drone system for mine countermeasures to the French Navy, as part of the MMCM (Maritime Mine Counter Measures) programme.

The U.S. Navy has reached a major milestone in the development of its Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) programme by successfully completing a 720-hour continuous power demonstration on a key engine system. This achievement marks the final step in assessing the capability and resilience of propulsion systems designed for autonomous operations.

The U.S. Navy has reached a major milestone in the development of its USV programme by successfully completing a 720-hour continuous power demonstration on a key engine system.

Exail, a leading provider of maritime autonomy solutions, has unveiled its new transoceanic Uncrewed Surface Vessel (USV), the DriX O-16.

Milanion, through its UAE entity have been selected by JODDB, an organisation established by a royal decree in 1999, as an independent military/civilian organisation for an Electric Propulsion Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) conversion. Post-delivery of the initial USV conversion, the intent of the partnership is marked by a significant drive to further develop capabilities for USV conversions.

It has recently been confirmed by the UK Ministry of Defence that the trials were run in December 2022 by the Royal Navy Maritime Autonomous System Trials Team (MASTT), supported by Thales. Observing and approving the trials off Weymouth Bay were representatives from the UK Naval Authority and Technology Group (NATG) and the Mine Hunting Capability team from the Ministry of Defence.
