The U.S. aircraft lineup includes the F-15E Strike Eagle, F-16 Fighting Falcon and A-10 Thunderbolt II. C-130J Super Hercules and C-130H Hercules airlifters will also participate.
Personnel from the U.S. Air Force and Texas Air National Guard will take part alongside Egyptian and international counterparts. More than 50 aircraft are expected to appear across the exhibition.
Washington will use the second edition of the air show to promote cooperation with Egypt in military, commercial and private aviation. The American presence will also cover aircraft manufacturing, aerospace technology, space and related industries.
“The United States is proud to participate in the El Alamein International Air Show 2026 and to open the U.S. Pavilion, featuring more than 25 American companies from among the world’s leading aerospace and defense innovators,” said Eric Gaudiosi, chargé d’affaires ad interim at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo. “Our strong presence reflects the depth of the U.S.-Egypt partnership and our longstanding cooperation across the aviation, aerospace, defense, space, and commercial sectors.”
“We look forward to building new partnerships and expanding opportunities that benefit both our countries,” Gaudiosi added. The pavilion will give U.S. companies a platform to engage with government and industry representatives attending the event.
The U.S. Air Force said the deployment would demonstrate its commitment to regional stability and multilateral cooperation. It will also highlight the defense relationship between Washington and Cairo through joint participation by military personnel and aircraft.
