Ukraine recorded hits on more than 35,000 Russian fixed-wing unmanned aircraft during the same month. The ministry said those results came despite Russian efforts to strengthen logistics, communications and command-and-control systems.
The movement of maritime operations marks a change from earlier activity centred more heavily on the Sea of Azov. Ukrainian forces are now recording a larger share of targets in the Black Sea.
The ministry also reported hits on three high-value Russian aircraft. They comprised a Su-30 fighter, an L-39 Albatros and a Ka-52 Alligator helicopter.
The ePoints programme listed 30,246 Russian personnel as killed or wounded in August. The figure was reported by Ukraine’s Defence Ministry and was not presented with a separate breakdown of fatalities and injuries.
Each recorded result is supported by video uploaded to the DELTA combat-management system. Ukraine’s Innovation Development Fund verifies the material before it is counted under the programme.
Ukrainian unmanned systems continued to hit targets more than 20 kilometres behind the front, according to the ministry. Operations focused on routes used to move personnel, equipment and ammunition.
The strikes are forcing Russian forces to reorganise their logistics and move assets away from established bases, Ukraine said. Russian units are also seeking ways to counter platforms that rely on Starlink satellite communications.
Ukraine says data collected through DELTA shows that every dollar spent on strikes inflicts almost five dollars in losses on Russia. The figure reflects the ministry’s assessment of the economic effect of Ukrainian unmanned operations.
