On July 2 representatives of PGZ S.A. met with representatives of Hyundai Rotem Company in order to develop a strategic agreement on industrial cooperation regarding the production of K2 tanks in Poland. The meeting was a part of the ongoing intensive industrial dialogue.

After a series of intensive meetings including the Polish government and representatives of the PGZ Group in South Korea and Poland, the management board of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A., taking care of the interests of all armored companies from the PGZ Group, took decisive actions to develop a new contract between PGZ S.A. and Hyundai Rotem Company and to establish a strategic partnership.

PGZ S.A. is currently conducting negotiations with the Korean side, intended to ensure that Korean equipment acquired by the Ministry of National Defence can be integrated, produced and polonized in PGZ companies to the greatest extent possible. It should be mentioned that in accordance with the concluded contracts, the service and maintenance of K2 tanks will be carried out using the resources and infrastructure of the Wojskowe Zakłady Motoryzacyjne in Poznan.
