The company is now in a position to address these matters directly and looks forward to setting the record straight.
On 15 April 2026, Astor International filed a detailed defence in the proceedings, categorically denying the allegations brought by Tripwire South LLC in the High Court proceedings. Astor’s position is that Tripwire’s claims are serially misconceived and that those involving allegations of intentional wrongdoing are contrived devices, all of which are denied.
The company has also filed a substantial claim in the High Court seeking damages exceeding USD 200 million, together with interest, costs, and further relief, in proceedings involving Tripwire South, Marine Defense, Mr Jack Clark, Mr Ryan Morris.
The claim sets out Astor International’s case in relation to a coordinated course of conduct designed to damage the company, disrupt its operations, and undermine its position and standing as a trusted and respected participant within the international defence market.
The matters set out in the counterclaim are of a serious nature and, if established, may have consequences beyond financial compensation.
Henry Turnbull, CEO of Astor International said: “For a sustained period, we made the considered decision to refrain from speaking publicly about the matters that have been the subject of speculation. Maintaining that position has not been without its challenges, particularly in managing ongoing commercial relationships and retaining the confidence of our customers, but it was necessary to protect the integrity of the process and the business.
I have invested significant time, effort, and personal commitment into building and protecting this business, and navigating the circumstances that have led to these proceedings has not been straightforward.
Litigation is not something we ever expected to be part of our business. Astor International has historically operated without involvement in matters of this nature, building its reputation on professionalism, integrity, and trusted long-term relationships.
Our defence makes clear that we deny any allegations of wrongdoing. The proceedings against us are being defended in full. The claim that we are bringing against these additional parties sets out serious matters which we will pursue with clarity and determination.
The issues raised include the protection of confidential information, the integrity of business operations, and adherence to contractual obligations – all of which are fundamental to safeguarding the integrity, security, and proper handling of data within the highly sensitive defence sector.
We have now taken decisive action to protect Astor International and its long-term position.”
