Israeli drone manufacturer Aeronautics has announced new contracts exceeding $50 million for its Orbiter 4 Unmanned Aerial System (UAS). The deals, signed with multiple international customers, reflect strong global demand for Aeronautics’ advanced tactical drone systems.

“These awards encompass the supply of the advanced Orbiter 4 UAS in various configurations,” the company said, underlining its commitment to providing modern battlefield solutions. The contracts highlight the growing importance of flexible, high-performance systems for both land and maritime operations.

The Orbiter 4 is designed for multi-mission and multi-payload use, enabling efficient operation in a wide range of scenarios. Its strengths include extended endurance, low logistical footprint, rapid field configuration changes, and the ability to operate in adverse weather conditions.

Described by Aeronautics as a powerful asset with high precision and adaptability, the Orbiter 4 supports various payloads tailored to diverse operational requirements. Its cost-effectiveness and small crew requirement make it a practical choice for evolving defence needs.

Dan Slasky, President & CEO of Aeronautics, said: “We are proud to announce these new contracts for our Orbiter 4 systems. This state-of-the-art and battle-proven UAS enables exceptional operational capabilities, setting a new benchmark for flexibility, mission excellence, operational efficiency, and survivability.”

Aeronautics emphasised the Orbiter 4’s role in providing agility on the modern battlefield through field-ready configuration options such as launcher and VTOL. The company sees these new agreements as a strong foundation for future cooperation with its customers and ongoing innovation in tactical UAS solutions.
