Selected by the MSPO Program Council, chaired by Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence, Paweł Bejda, the Alakran system was awarded for its groundbreaking advancements in military technology. The award was presented by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
The Alakran, a versatile and resilient mobile mortar system, is designed to meet the challenges of modern, high-intensity battlefields. It features a fully digital and automated platform, offering ease of use and effectiveness in various operational environments, including urban, desert, forest, mountainous, and snowy terrains. The system is currently in service in multiple active conflict zones worldwide.
The Alakran system is notable for its adaptability, capable of being mounted on almost any 4×4 vehicle with a minimum 2-ton payload. It utilises patented technology to enhance mobility, precision, accuracy, firepower, and crew safety, setting it apart from competitors.
Milanion NTGS showcased the Alakran system at MSPO 2024 in collaboration with their local partner, AUTO PODLASIE. The system received positive attention from both Polish and international delegations.
Elaine Correia, President of NTGS, accepted the award on behalf of the company, stating, “MSPO 2024 has been an incredibly engaging show for us with delegations from Poland and internationally. We want to thank the organisers of the Defender Awards and AUTO PODLASIE for allowing us to showcase Alakran’s innovative technologies and features and for the prestigious award.”
