ASELSAN participated in the NATO Coalition Warrior Interoperability Exercise (CWIX) 2024 held in Bydgoszcz, Poland, between 3-21 June with its Air Defence Early Warning and Command Control, Radar Network Management and Battlefield Management Systems.

ASELSAN, Türkiye’s leading defence company, participated in the comprehensive NATO exercise in which 27 NATO members and two partner countries took place. Over the course of three weeks, NATO’s command and control capabilities were successfully tested in 18 functional focus areas. More than 480 skills of varying maturity levels were tested in the exercise.

ASELSAN systems used in the exercise are HERÄ°KKS Air Defence Early Warning Command and Control System, KOCATEPE Battlefield Management System, and RADNET-II Radar Network Management (HAKÄ°M-RAD) Systems. Testing its current, near-term and future capabilities, ASELSAN also had the opportunity to explore experimental competencies with its national systems. The trials of ASELSAN’s unique system solutions, carried out in a controlled environment with systems belonging to NATO member countries, showed success at CWIX 2024.

Three game-changing technologies:

HERÄ°KKS stands out as a command and control system that manages air defence activities by establishing a computer network among air defence elements in the tactical field. The system can create a real-time air picture by combining information received from air defence radars.

KOCATEPE Battlefield Management System provides digital integration of the command post and affiliated combat elements, from corps level to soldier level, by equipping them with communications, vehicles, military computers and command control systems.

RADNET-II Radar Network Management System (HAKÄ°M-RAD) stands out as a new generation radar management system.
