Elbit Systems secures USD 60 million order for artillery ammunition

Israeli defence company Elbit Systems has signed a contract to supply 155mm artillery ammunition for the Israel Defence Forces.

According to Elbit Systems, the contract will be performed over a period of one year. The number of artillery shells ordered by the Israel Ministry of Defence was not initially specified.

However, the Israel Ministry of Defense stated that under the contract, Elbit Systems will deliver “tens of thousands” of artillery shells.

The expansion and the upgrade of our production infrastructure enables the provision of rapid production of a range of high quality solutions to the Israel Ministry of Defense.
