The latest technology demonstration within the Responsive Electronic Attack for Cooperative Tasks (REACT) programme showcased ELT Group's work on Digital Beamforming (DBF) technology. The Italian company presented its developments to attendees from various esteemed organizations, including Consortium members, OCCAR (Organisation Conjointe de Coopération en matière d'ARmement), the European Commission, the Spanish Ministry of Defence, and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration.

DBF technology, a pivotal innovation in Electronic Warfare (EW), manipulates antenna arrays to direct radio frequency signals electronically. This advancement allows for enhanced radar performance by providing precise control over transmitted or received signals. It plays a crucial role in reducing interference and enables agile and adaptive responses to threats within the electromagnetic spectrum.

The event included a detailed review of the status of REACT activities assigned to ELT Group, coupled with an in-depth description of the DBF technology. This comprehensive presentation aimed to provide a clearer understanding of the technology’s capabilities before the lab demonstration.

Participants were also treated to a factory tour, allowing them to observe firsthand the main activities and applications where ELT Group is applying this cutting-edge technology. The tour not only showcased the technical prowess of ELT Group but also highlighted the company’s significant role in advancing electronic warfare capabilities.
