Source: ESG

ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH has been commissioned with the implementation of secure TETRA communication for the 59th Munich Security Conference, which will take place from 17 to 19 February, as well as for the following main conferences until 2025.

The Munich Security Conference is the world’s leading forum for debating international security policy. Held annually at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof, the main conference brings together a good 450 high-ranking decision-makers and prominent opinion leaders from all over the world – including heads of state, ministers, leaders of international organisations and non-governmental organisations as well as leading representatives from business, the media, research and civil society. The requirements for ensuring the safety of all participants are correspondingly high.

Together with Stadtwerke München, ESG will make a valuable contribution to the success of the conference within the highly demanding security architecture: On behalf of ESG, Stadtwerke München will set up two TETRA base stations at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof and integrate them into its overall TETRA network. This will ensure uninterrupted and secure TETRA communication in the hotel itself as well as in the relevant surroundings.

The TETRA terminals used and their accessories for the staff of the Munich Security Conference, the German Federal Armed Forces and the participating security organisations are especially designed for concealed carrying and are thus optimally suited for the range of use during the conference.

This assignement once again underlines ESG´s special capabilities as a systems company, particularly in the areas of IT & communication and system integration in a highly complex security-critical environment.
