This is EuroTrophy’s second major contract within a year, following the Norwegian Army’s selection of Trophy APS for its Leopard 2A8 fleet. The Trophy system, which is combat-proven and NATO-fielded, is now part of the standard configuration for the Leopard 2A8 tanks.
“We are honored and grateful for this award, as it clearly demonstrates the high confidence our customer KNDS has in our combat-proven Active Protection System,” said Dan Kalfus, Managing Director of EuroTrophy. “With this step, Trophy has become an integral part of the Leopard 2 A8 standard configuration.”
Dr. Thomas Kauffmann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of EuroTrophy, highlighted the broader significance of the contract. “This contract award marks a major milestone and achievement in our joint effort to supply world-class technology to our European customers. We are convinced that Trophy will be the first choice for many other NATO and European users, which want to equip their MBT and IFV fleets with a Europe-made active protection system,” he said.
EuroTrophy, based in Frankfurt, is a joint venture between Rafael, KNDS, and GDELS. It is the only European provider of a combat-proven and NATO-fielded APS. In addition to its Trophy system, the company offers a comprehensive range of services, including vehicle integration support, maintenance, and through-life support,
