Finnish fighter jets land on Bornholm for training exercise

Finnish F/A-18 fighter jets have landed on the Danish island of Bornholm as part of a training exercise with the Royal Danish Air Force. The exercise aims to strengthen cooperation and improve joint operational capabilities between the two nations.

 

The Finnish jets will conduct training missions alongside Danish F-16 fighters, focusing on air-to-air combat and air defence scenarios. This exercise marks an important step in enhancing the Nordic countries’ ability to work together in the defence sector.

 

 

The training is part of ongoing efforts to improve regional security and demonstrate the close military ties between Finland and Denmark.
