High Eye to deliver Airboxer VTOL drones to Dutch Armed Forces

High Eye, the Dutch specialist in unmanned helicopter systems, has won an open international tender and will supply its Airboxer vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) unmanned aerial vehicles to the Dutch Armed Forces.

 

The company is set to deliver the first Airboxer system within this year, marking the commencement of a detailed integration program designed to extend over two years.

 

 

This program aims to incorporate the Airboxer VTOL UAV comprehensively into the Dutch Ministry of Defence’s operations both domestically and internationally, ensuring a seamless adoption of the technology.

 

 

The Airboxer is noted for its versatility, including the ability to carry a variety of payloads and sensors up to 7 kg. It showcases remarkable endurance and performance capabilities, capable of operating under diverse environmental conditions.

The UAV is designed to withstand extreme temperatures, high humidity, and adverse weather, making it an ideal asset for a wide range of military applications.

 

 

Through this contract, High Eye underscores its commitment to enhancing the operational capabilities of the Dutch Ministry of Defence with its cutting-edge Airboxer VTOL UAV, promising a significant advancement in unmanned aerial technology.
