RENK, a leading provider of vehicle mobility solutions, has signed a development contract with one of the leading European systems houses for land forces. The two parties signed this agreement at Eurosatory 2024 in Villepinte, RENK said in a press release.

The contract covers the development and production of a new hydrodynamic shift, turn and lock transmission (HSWL), as well as its qualification in the corresponding tracked vehicles.

“We are proud to have been selected as partner for this innovative and trend-setting development contract,” said Dr. Alexander Sagel, COO and Executive Board member of RENK Group AG.

Delivery of a prototype is scheduled for early 2025. Two years later, series production is to begin at the Augsburg plant.

“This order underscores our position as a trusted partner for mission-critical drive technologies,” added Michael Masur, CEO of Vehicle Mobility Solutions of RENK Group.
