The EU funded FAMOUS programme has a unique and innovative approach to develop the next generation armoured vehicles and situational awareness system that enhance ground combat capabilities.
LMT participates in FAMOUS and FAMOUS2 projects
LMT’s participation in these projects includes studying the potential of 5G in defence and the interoperability of the 5G network and conventional military communication systems.
Patria: nearly €100 million from EDF for develop future ground combat capabilities
Nine countries are participating in the consortium implementing the FAMOUS project. Finland will continue to act as the lead state and Patria as the industrial coordinator.
