Italy is set to bolster Ukraine’s military capabilities by providing a new aid package that includes the medium-range SAMP/T air defence system, according to La Repubblica.

The French Minister of Defence, Sébastien Lecornu, told "La Tribune" newspaper that France will supply Ukraine with an additional batch of Aster 30 air defence missiles. These missiles are designed to intercept threats and are part of the SAMP/T air and missile defence system, which was previously provided to Ukraine by Italy and France.

The French Minister of Defence, Sébastien Lecornu, told “La Tribune” newspaper that France will supply Ukraine with an additional batch of Aster 30 air defence missiles.

The Ministry of Defence of Singapore announced at the end of November that its medium-range air defence system, SAMP/T with Aster 30 missiles, has achieved full operational capability. Produced by the MBDA consortium, this system has replaced the Raytheon MIM-23B Improved Homing All the Way Killer (I-HAWK) in the RSAF’s (Republic of Singapore Air Force) 163 Squadron.
