Volz Servos has been awarded a significant contract by Airbus to supply its advanced DA 26 actuators for the SIRTAP high-end tactical Unmanned Aerial System (UAS).
The SIRTAP remotely piloted aerial system will provide the armed forces with an advanced surveillance and reconnaissance tool that will add to their tactical capabilities.
Contract includes a total of nine systems, each consisting of three unmanned aerial vehicles and one ground control station.
The Spanish Council of Ministers has granted approval to the Ministry of Defence to enter into a contract with Airbus Defence and Space for the acquisition of SIRTAP drones.
