Ukroboronprom highlights, in a press release, that the company’s main focus remains on developing its production and technological capabilities, while ensuring a consistent supply of products and services to the Ukrainian Armed Forces and other security services.
Among the key priorities outlined in the adopted strategy for 2023-2024, Ukroboronprom emphasizes the preservation of existing industrial competencies, the acquisition of new competencies through technology transfers from leading Western companies, and the sustained ability to provide support throughout the life cycle of military equipment used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Given the ongoing conflict with the Russian Federation, ensuring the safety of its industrial facilities is of paramount importance for Ukroboronprom. As such, the company’s strategy involves establishing new facilities in secure locations within partner countries’ territories.
Additionally, Ukroboronprom places a priority on acquiring expertise in servicing and maintaining military equipment operated by NATO member states’ armed forces. With the Ukrainian Armed Forces increasingly receiving such equipment and weaponry from Western nations, Ukroboronprom’s capability in this area will play a pivotal role in sustaining the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian army.
Ukroboronprom’s strategy also entails extensive cooperation with leading defence companies from the United States, as well as NATO and European Union member states.
