Throughout the month of December, US soldiers with the 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Armoured Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division assigned to NATO enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) Battlegroup Poland strengthened their warfighter mastery by conducting mortar training, a wet gap crossing, and a platoon live-fire alongside the Polish Army in Bemowo Piskie, Poland.
With the United States as the Framework Nation, NATO eFP Battlegroup Poland is currently led by the 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment and comprises three other Allies, i.e. the U.K. The Royal Lancers, Prince of Wales Troop, the Romanian Sky Guardians and the Croatian Archer Battery.
