Weibel Scientific North America secures contract for second advanced tracking radar

Weibel Scientific North America has been awarded a follow-on contract to deliver a second 45dB Multi-Frequency Tracking Radar (MFTR-2100/45-3840). The contract reinforces the company's role in providing advanced radar solutions for long-range tracking and instrumentation missions.

Weibel Scientific North America has been awarded a follow-on contract to deliver a second 45dB Multi-Frequency Tracking Radar (MFTR-2100/45-3840). The contract reinforces the company's role in providing advanced radar solutions for long-range tracking and instrumentation missions.

 

The MFTR-2100 series radars are designed for versatile deployment, capable of being mounted on a mobile trailer platform or integrated onto a sea-going vessel with full motion compensation. This flexibility allows the system to be used effectively in both land-based and maritime operations, adapting to different mission requirements.

 

 

Scott T. McGleish, President and General Manager of Weibel Scientific North America, highlighted the significance of this contract. He stated that the award reflects customer confidence in Weibel’s long-range radar technology and its ability to meet critical operational needs.
